The draft text and all illustrations are complete, and the book exists as a preliminary mockup. Your support will enable Hanna and her collaborators to fully develop the content, secure guest contributors, and produce a beautiful finished book. Investment now helps shape a work that could serve communities, leaders in development, and anyone longing to practice a more generous, trusting, and ease-filled way of being—even (especially) when life is hard.

This third illustrated book, like Oppression and Sue, combines Hanna’s distinctive visual art with text that invites readers into transformation. Centered around the idea that it is possible to practice our way out of internalized patterns of scarcity, control, and avoidance of uncertainty. Through plain language, stories from her work, and evocative imagery, this book invites us into practices that cultivate “new ways of being in the world.” In the adult picture book format Hanna has pioneered, readers encounter simple illustrations paired with profound questions. Our development plans include contributions from guest authors offering practical ways to embody these invitations in daily life, as well as facilitation and dialogue supports for leaders and groups.
